Letter of Recommendation
I saw you perform today at the Nashoba Valley Technical High School in
Westford, MA.   I did not get to talk to you after the show, but I wanted to
let you know that my three year old daughter and I had a great time.

I first saw you perform at my school when I was in the fourth grade.  I figured out that is was 1982 or early 1983!  I remember where I sat in the library, getting sectioned in groups for the Sleep Sleep song and getting your autograph after the show.
I also remember placing the small piece of paper that I had your autograph on over another piece of paper.  I then traced over your name to make an indentation on the second piece of paper.  Using my keen eyes I drew along the indentations to make a copy of your autograph for my best friend.  I thought I was being clever and generous to share your autograph in such a way.  Unfortunately, I got yelled at by my friend's mom and found out what forgery was.  :)
Your performance had such an impact on me back then that I still will spontaneously sing Sleep Sleep, The Garden Song, Hippopotamus rock and others songs your performed that day.  I was quite thrilled to find you were coming to Westford and I could give my daughter the same experience I had as a child.  Thank you
Hey Bill,
My name is Matt Pollock, and I just wanted to thank you for your music that I so thoroughly enjoyed as a little kid.  Fifteen years ago or so, I was maybe 3 or 4 at the time, you played at the Lexington high school in Massachusetts, and I for sure had a ticket.  It was one of the most memorable moments of my life so far.  I remember being sad when it ended because you never played the pizza song, but after the show my father brought me up to the front and you and I sang it together; it made my day and I'll keep that memory with me for my whole life.
thanks again
