SONG WRITING WORKSHOP
There are at least three phases to writing songs.  The melody, rhythm,
and lyrics.  Each has it’s own approach and song writing can be started from any of
those places.  Sometimes more than one and sometimes all three.  The art to song
writing is more a set of skill sets that the song writer must understand and attempt to
master.  Bills course focuses on the different aspects.  People are encouraged to bring
in a song they are working on and receive suggestions and critiques from Bill and the
class.  It is an interactive class where everyone gets to share and participate.  Size of the
class is limited.

PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
This is designed for performers, teachers, speakers, in fact, anyone who must get up
in front of an audience.  It focuses on how to “get” your audience, how to keep them
and how to entertain them.  Openings, flow, pacing, mis-directions, storytelling,
development, jokes, closers, all have a function in a good performance.  These are all
covered in the workshop.
